Arthritis Care

If you have a senior pet, or one who has arthritis you may want to consider keeping the inside during winter.

They may shiver from the cold, have more trouble moving about due to aching joints and generally feel miserable during the winter months.

If your pet must live outside, consider a waterproof winter jacket, a heated mat for their bed and an extra blanket.

Ensure their bed is kept warm, dry and out of any potential wind and rain.

It may be time to start or resume treatment for arthritis such as different foods, food additives, oral medications or injectables.
